   Fans and drivers gathered at Butler County Motorplex as the season comes closer to the end for the year. Scott Styskal took the lead in the first IMCA Modified heat race as the green flag indicated the start of the race. Styskal continued for the win as Bob Zoubek had to settle for second followed by Adrian Hein Jr. and Mark Kaspar. Michael Densberger led the entire race in heat number two for the win. Tom Svoboda, Chevy Hadan and Chris Alcorn rounded out the top four.
   
   Ronald Frank controlled the first of two IMCA Compact heat races for the win. Garrett Rech was second with Jessica Ludwig third and Mary Lenz fourth. Heat number two found Jeremy Noonan in control for the entire race to collect the win. Mike Simpson was second, Dan Rhiley third and Amanda Rhiley fourth.
   
   Jerrid Becker took the lead in the first IMCA Hobby Stock heat race. Brandon Kresha was on a mission and took the lead on lap three. Kresha continued for the win with Becker finishing second, Nick Topil was third and Noah Ludwig fourth. Quinten Spragg took the lead in heat number two and continued his lead until the white flag lap. Shane Hiatt took the win after obtaining the lead with two laps remaining. Dusty Poessnecker moved into second, Spragg was third and Rich Small fourth.
   
   Kyle Becker led the first lap in heat number one of the IMCA Sport Mod division. Steve Swarthout took control on lap two and continued for the win. Jim Hendricks was second, Denny Berghahan Jr. and Kyle Harpster rounded out the top four. Kevin Kloke led lap number one of the second heat race. Rod Bronson took the lead on lap two but Max Harder took control on lap four and continued for the win. Kyle Pacena was second followed by Rod Bronson and Geoff Olson.
   
   Jeremy Noonan got the win in the IMCA Sport Compact A feature. Mike Simpson was second, Amanda Rhiley third and Ronald Frank was fourth. It was good to have ten competitors in this division.
   
   The IMCA Hobby Stock feature was action packed. Jerrid Becker took the lead as the race began. Two laps were completed when Damon Richards rolled on the backstretch but luckily he was not seriously injured. Becker led lap three after the race resumed but Quinten Spragg took the lead on lap four. Brandon Kresha took the lead on lap five and continued his lead. On lap ten Jerrid Becker took a nasty roll in turn three. Once again the driver was not injured. Shane Hiatt managed to take the lead with three laps remaining and got the win. Brando Kresh as second, Dusty Poessnecker third and Noah Ludwig fourth.
   
   Kevin Kloke took the lead as the IMCA Sport Mod feature got under way. Max Harder took the lead from Kloke on lap three and continued to lead until tire problem caused him to finish in fifth. Denny Berghahn Jr. got the win with Geoff Olson second, Kyle Pacena third and Kyle Harpster was fourth.
   
   The IMCA Modified feature found Chevy Hadan taking the lead. Scott Styskal took the lead on lap four but Chris Alcorn took control on lap number five. Alcorn continued his lead for the win as the only caution in the race was before the completion of the first lap. Chey Hadan finished second with Scott Styskal third and Tom Svoboda was fourth.
   
   Next week is Championship night and the final night of the regular season. Drivers will still line up for the races according to point averages for the year. There will be no races on August 29 due to the State Fair race program. September 5 will be the ASCS Sprint Cars, and Vintage Lites on the racing surface.
